Our practice walk for the 3 peaks has been planned. We are going around the Dove Dale area on Sunday the 3rd May.
Meeting at the Car Park in Thorpe near the Tissington trail and the Dog & Partridge Pub at about 9am.
The route of the walk is detailed below (maps courtesy of streetmap.co.uk - best give them a plug as I have nicked their images!)
The red dashed line is my proposed route.
If we stick to the Red route I recon it is about 13 miles. If we do the Yellow short cut (to Alstonefield) it saves about 1.5 miles. If we do the blue shortcut (back to Thorpe) it saves about a mile.
I'm sure there are other longer or shorter options we can take depending on how we feel, what the weather is like and how long we spend in the pub.
